Frontend UI Intern

Circuvent builds a full enterprise software suite — HR, payroll, hiring, mail, docs, tasks and more — and the interfaces people actually live in every day. This internship is for someone who wants to learn how production UI is built: not mockups in isolation, but screens that ship, handle real data, and have to work for hundreds of users. You will work on our web applications (CV-365, HRMS, Paystub, ATS and the careers portal) alongside engineers who review your pull requests properly. The stack is modern and consistent across products: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui components. You are not expected to know all of it on day one; you are expected to read existing code, ask clear questions, and improve something each week. What you will do --------------- - Build and refine UI components — forms, tables, dialogs, navigation — that match our design system and behave correctly on different screen sizes. - Wire screens to real APIs: loading states, empty states, validation errors and success feedback that tell the user what happened. - Fix visual bugs and polish interactions — spacing, focus order, keyboard use, hover and disabled states — so the product feels finished rather than "technically working". - Pair with a mentor on larger features: breaking a design into components, choosing where state should live, and writing code another person can read six months later. - Participate in code review: receive feedback on your work and learn to review others' changes with the same care. What we are looking for ----------------------- You are in your 3rd or final year of B.Tech / B.E. / MCA (CSE, IT, ECE or related), or you have recently graduated and are available for a full-time internship. You have built at least one web interface yourself — a course project, a hackathon, a personal site or an open-source contribution — and you can walk us through how you structured it. You understand HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals. You have touched React (or are willing to learn it quickly from our codebase). You notice when a button does not align, when text overflows its container, or when a form does not explain why it rejected input — and you want to fix those things. Nice to have: TypeScript, Tailwind, Figma or design handoffs, accessibility basics (labels, contrast, focus), Git and a GitHub profile with real commits. Where you work -------------- Remote-first, with occasional sync calls and the option to visit our Hyderabad office when the team is together. You need a reliable internet connection, a quiet place for video calls, and overlap with IST working hours for stand-ups and reviews. What we offer ------------- A stipend of ₹0.6–1.2 LPA depending on experience and portfolio, a dedicated mentor, real production code from week one, and a letter of experience that describes what you actually shipped. Strong performers are considered for a full-time offer at the end of the internship.
